How To Set Up Shopstyle Collective
In this post I’ll be showing you how to set up Shopstyle Collective on your website or blog. But firstly I want to explain what Shopstyle Collective is for those persons who may not be familiar with it.
ShopStyle Collective is one of the easiest ways to get started with affiliate marketing and make money. Once approved, you will have access to thousands of retailers and brands instantly without the need to apply to each one separately. Their payout threshold is about $25.
Building text links on ShopStyle Collective is very easy. Simply click on the item you would like to promote then click Product Details. You will see the option to copy the link.
Another benefit of using ShopStyle Collective is that you can share products directly to your social media networks using the icons below the product.
How to build a product widget on ShopStyle Collective
ShopStyle Collective allows you to create product widgets like the one shown below. After creating a widget you copy some code and paste it where you want it to appear on your website. However, not all affiliate networks have the widgets feature, an example would be Awin.
On the home page click Create > Product Widget
There are various ways in which you can add products to the product widget pictured below. From the left panel, you can add products by retailer, brand, price range etc. or through the search box at the top.
Add products and build the widget how you want it to appear on your site as demonstrated below.
Edit the widget accordingly then click publish. The picture below shows where I added another column and published the widget.
Copy the embed code.
You can either paste the code into your blog post text area as shown below.
Alternatively, you can paste the code into the designated widget box. Most premium themes come with a built-in widget box where you can paste the widget codes in directly.
Click Visual to return to the previous screen and continue typing your blog post.
Preview your blog post. There is nothing else typed up therefore only the product is shown below. But it should look something like this.
Another way to add and share products from ShopStyle Collective is by downloading the ShopStyle Collective LinkIt Chrome Extension.
You are all set now! That’s how to set up Shopstyle Collective product widgets on your website or blog.
